The short version

Every calculator and tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Text you paste into the JSON formatter, JWT decoder, RSA key generator, PII redactor, or any other tool is processed locally by JavaScript and never sent to a server — because there is no backend for it to be sent to. This isn't a policy choice that could change with a backend rewrite; it's the site's actual architecture. It's a static site with no database and no server-side application logic.

What we don't collect

  • No accounts, sign-up, or login — there's nothing to register for.
  • No content you type, paste, or generate in any tool (JSON, JWTs, keys, hashes, prompts, etc.) is transmitted anywhere.
  • No analytics or behavioral tracking scripts are loaded on this site.
  • No advertising networks or ad trackers.
  • No cookies are set for tracking or identification purposes.

What is stored, and where

The site remembers one thing: your light/dark theme preference, saved via your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Third-party requests

This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font file is a standard browser request and, like any request to a third-party host, means Google's servers see the requesting IP address — this is covered by Google's own privacy policy, not ours, and is the only outbound network request this site makes beyond navigating between its own pages. No other third-party scripts, embeds, or resources are loaded.

Server logs

Whatever hosting provider serves these static files may keep standard web server access logs (request timestamps, IP addresses, requested paths) as a normal part of operating infrastructure — the same as any website on the internet. This is infrastructure-level logging, separate from and unrelated to anything you do inside a tool, since none of that ever reaches a server.

Changes to this policy

If a future feature ever changed this (for example, an optional account system or a paid API), this page would be updated first and the change would be clearly disclosed — not buried in a version bump. As of the date above, the "short version" section is a complete and accurate description of how this site handles your data.
